National Pharmacies is looking for an experienced Dispensary Technician to join our forward-thinking, purpose-driven team at our Blackwood Pharmacy. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring our pharmacists can spend more time where they’re needed most — face to face with patients, delivering clinical care and expert health advice.

You’ll work within your full scope to support the safe, efficient, and accurate supply of medicines and health solutions, becoming a trusted and essential part of the care experience for every person who walks through our doors.

 

The successful candidate must have the availability to work the following roster:

 

Week 1

Saturday: 9:00-5:00

Sunday: 9:00-4:30

Total: 14.50

 

Week 2

Monday: 10:00am-4:30am

Friday: 10:00am-6:00pm

Total: 14.00

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Prepare, process, and manage prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
  • Support pharmacists in delivering innovative health and wellness services.
  • Provide exceptional service and build lasting relationships with patients.
  • Maintain stock control, ordering, and inventory processes.
  • Collaborate closely with pharmacists and the wider team to ensure seamless care.
  • Embrace technology, safety, and continuous improvement in everything you do.

 

About You 

  • Takes pride in doing meaningful work that helps others.

  • Organised, detail-oriented, and passionate about patient care.
  • Community minded.
  • Previous Pharmacy experience or qualification (eg Supply of Pharmacy and Pharmacist Only Medicines S2 and S3 medicines or Certificate III in Community Pharmacy or equivalent) Or be eager to build a career in pharmacy.
