Our Optical business has been around for over 35 years, and we continue to build on creating excellence in providing the best optical services along with outstanding commitment to our values.

We are currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Optical Manager to join our Optical by National Pharmacies team on a full-time basis, at our Newton store. 

Job Description

About the role

  • Optical Manager leads the committed optical team to provide consistently high customer service and outstanding advice and solutions for their optical needs. 
  • Provide support, training and development to the team in the pursuit of continuous improvement.
  • Ensure our stores are beautifully presented and well-stocked so our customers feel welcome and enjoy their experience in our stores.
  • Modelling our purpose outstanding service through the demonstrated values of Care, Communicate, Collaborate and Celebrate.

What does excellence as an Optical Manager look like

  • An experienced manager who loves the part of the role that includes topping a leaderboard and smashing individual and group KPI’s
  • A flair for fashion, with understanding that assisting customers in choosing frames that suit them is a skill and an honour.
  • Track record of providing outstanding customer service and advice to a diverse range of customers in all
  • Adaptable leader who is excited and committed to lifelong learning within our Optical team.
  • Passionate and resilient people leaders who care about the development, ambition and success of their team, as they are of their own.
  • Can commit to the below roster:

Week 1:

Monday - Friday: 9.00am - 5.30pm 

Week 2:

Monday - Thursday: 9.00am - 5.30pm

Saturday - 9.00am - 2.00pm
