National Pharmacies is seeking a motivated Pharmacy Operations Manager at our Glenunga store to lead one of our pharmacy teams and support our mission to deliver outstanding service and care to our members and customers.
In this role, you will lead the retail and operational performance of the pharmacy, ensuring exceptional customer service, strong team engagement, achievement of sales targets and operational excellence across all areas of the store.
Key Responsibilities
Drive member and customer engagement, contributing to monthly membership sign-up targets.
Lead and support the pharmacy team to deliver exceptional customer service and operational excellence.
Drive sales performance, achieve monthly budgets and maximise profitability.
Manage employee rostering, leave management and workforce planning to support business needs.
Monitor and interpret pharmacy financial reports to support business performance.
Support and maintain strong visual merchandising, promotional displays and retail presentation standards.
Ensure compliance with legislation, company policies, procedures and operating standards.
Lead team communication, coaching and performance development activities.
Support inventory management, stock control and loss prevention initiatives.
Work collaboratively with the Principal Pharmacist, Business Operations Manager and National Support Office teams.
Foster a positive, agile and high-performing workplace culture.
About You
Proven experience leading teams within a retail or customer service environment.
Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build rapport with a diverse range of people.
Passion for customer service and team development.
Strong commercial acumen and understanding of business financial drivers.
Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to effectively manage confidential or sensitive situations.
Sound knowledge of Work Health & Safety principles within a retail environment.
